Rev. Mackey and The Gospel Singers

Reverend Mackey, a true man of God, who loves God first, his family second, and his music last but not least. He is a believer of the word and more so true to the following scripture, “Without vision, the people perish…” His love for music pushed him on December of 2003 to be not just a singer but a minstrel of God. Along with Brother Charles Carraway, Sister Sallie Mackey (his wife) Reverend Mackey formed a group of believers to sing Zion songs to God.

It was nothing but fate for Brother Carraway to choose “REVEREND MACKEY & THE GOSPEL SINGERS” for their name, from that point the group was birthed. Rev. Mackey is the founder, and manager of the Gospel Singers. Rev. Mackey is not only a minstrel of God, but a minister of the word of God, a husband, and a father of five. He is a faithful member of the Ferguson Temple Holiness Church , under the leadership of Reverend Henry Ferguson. Let us not forget the other Gospel Singers that complete this amazing group. Bro.
